How to Manage Dropdowns

  1. Go to www.pinventory.net.
  2. Login using the username and password you created when you signed up for Pinventory.

  1. Click on the Member Profile picture for the profile you want to access.

  1. Click on the “Home Inventory” section on the left side of the screen to expand the menu.

  1. Click on “Home Inventory Items, Vehicles, or Critical Documents.”

  1. Click on the blue pencil icon to open an inventory record.

  1. Click “Manage Dropdowns.”

  1. Select a “Dropdown Filter.”

  1. Use the “Dropdown Name” field to create a new custom dropdown value.

  1. Click “Add.”

  1. A confirmation message will appear; click “Ok.”

  1. Use the “Dropdown Name” field to edit a custom dropdown value.

  1. Click “Update.”

  1. On the “Attention” screen, click “Yes” to continue editing.

  1. Another confirmation message will appear: click “Ok.”

  1. Click “Delete” to get rid of a dropdown value.

  1. On the “Attention” screen, click “Yes” to continue deleting.

  1. A confirmation message will appear; click “Ok.”
