Two-Factor Authentication (Is Now Active)

Two Factor Authentication (Now Active)

Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) is a security system requiring two separate forms of identification for access. The first factor is a password, while the second often involves receiving a code via email on your smartphone or email.

After entering your Username and Password, an email will be sent to the associated Email Address. It's important for the Username/Email Address relationship to be accurate. Follow the steps below to verify this information for each user on your account.

Pinventory's new Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) feature will require access to the email address linked to your account. If you wait until after 2FA activation to confirm your email address and find it’s incorrect, changing it will need a notarized document from us to verify your ownership (unless you are personally known to us). Once we receive the original notarized document, we will update your account's email address.

Note: If you created an inventory for a client and shared login details, ensure the Email Address on the My Account screen is accessible to them. Otherwise, they won't be able to log in. They'll need to contact you directly after logging in to obtain the verification code.
